
The White Sheik
(1951-2) Fellini's debut as a solo director follows a pair of young newlyweds who have come to Rome from the countryside. The groom wishes to see more traditional sites and visit the Pope while his bride dreams of seeing her idol, the White Sheik, a popular soap opera star of the day.
